Tokamak Energy Ltd, a global leader in fusion energy, seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on high-temperature superconducting magnets, cryogenic refrigeration, vacuum and pressure systems. The role focuses on creating 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and robust designs for demanding environments.

You will perform analyses, ensure manufacturability and safety, and collaborate with engineers, physicists and suppliers to deliver integrated

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Perform engineering analysis (FEA, calculations, simulations).
• Design components for performance, manufacturability and safety.
• Collaborate with other engineers, physicists and suppliers.
• Support testing, validation and system integration.
• Produce clear technical documentation.
