Job summary

Tokamak Energy Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team working on advanced technology systems including high temperature superconducting magnets, cryogenic refrigeration, vacuum technology and pressure systems.

You will design and deliver complex mechanical assemblies in demanding environments, contribute to testing and system integration, and collaborate with engineers, physicists and suppliers.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong CAD and mechanical design experience.
Background in complex, high-performance engineering systems as per above description.

Responsibilities

Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
Perform engineering analysis (FEA, calculations, simulations).
Design components for performance, manufacturability and safety.
Collaborate with other engineers, physicists and suppliers.
Support testing, validation and system integration.
Produce clear technical documentation.
