Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to drive concepts through to manufacture on bespoke projects, applying strong 3D design skills with Autodesk Inventor to create robust, manufacturable solutions for fabricated, sheet metal, and structural steel products.

This hands-on role requires ownership of designs across the lifecycle, producing detailed drawings, BOMs and tolerancing, and liaising with production to ensure feasible implementation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Proficient with Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD and design for fabrication.
• Experience designing fabricated steel, sheet metal, and structural steel products.
• Ability to create manufacturing drawings and GD&T/tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fabricated, sheet metal, and steel products for manufacture.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
• Manage projects from concept through completion and production release.
• Liaise with shop floor and manufacturing teams to ensure feasible production.
