Job summary

CHPK Group, a leading fire safety engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical building services across diverse sectors in the UK. You will guide the engineering team, ensure quality and safety in design, installation and commissioning, and contribute to tendering and client engagements.

The role offers hybrid working options, strong CPD support, and opportunities to work on high-profile projects within the Celnor Group.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven track record as Mechanical Engineer in services engineering, preferably London.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and other mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of mechanical systems for building services projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
Provide technical guidance to engineering team and stakeholders.
Oversee project execution, ensuring design, installation and commissioning meet quality and safety standards.
Monitor progress and budgets, identify risks and issues.
Participate in tender preparation and client presentations to win work.
Stay updated with industry trends and sustainability practices to improve designs.
