Job summary

Omega is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support aerospace projects in Wolverhampton. You will design mechanical components and assemblies, create 3D CAD models, and produce precise drawings using Siemens NX.

You\'ll apply GD&T, lead tolerance analyses, contribute to DFMEA, and participate in reviews and continuous improvement while supporting prototypes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.
• Experience with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX Essential).
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (Teamcenter preferred).
• Aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Role - Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Due to impressive project and programme developments, we are seeking to recruit Mechanical Design Engineers to support our client's engineering operations.

You'll need strong experience in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for rotating equipment in the aerospace sector. Demonstrable experience in the design of components such as gears, seals, rotors, transmissions or motors would be highly valuable.

Due to the complexity of the role candidates must be confident using Siemens NX design software.
