The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. This position reports to the Design Team Leader or their designee; is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for design of F1 chassis related components and mechanical assemblies.
GCSE, High School diploma, or equivalent required. Further education including Mechanical Engineer degree. Minimum 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 in a professional motorsports environment or F1 companies.
Ability to work under high pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a methodical approach. Occasional domestic and international travel, long and flexible hours, including weekends. May involve lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, manual dexterity. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, rigs, debris, and hazardous fluids. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
