Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Clevedon-based team. You will focus on improving existing products, investigating mechanical faults and delivering solutions that enhance reliability, safety and performance.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, field service and suppliers to drive engineering improvements and ensure robust, manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical engineering and design.
• Experience working in a regulated engineering environment.
• Strong 2D and 3D CAD skills.
• Knowledge of product development and design-for-manufacture.
• Experience investigating faults and implementing solutions.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering changes, drawings and specifications.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established engineering team in Clevedon.

You’ll focus on improving existing products, investigating mechanical faults and developing solutions to improve reliability, safety and performance.

You’ll work closely with manufacturing, quality, field service and suppliers to resolve technical issues and deliver engineering improvements.
