Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Design Engineer - Electrical Building Services for Data Centres in Northfleet. You will lead the design and technical development of building services systems across major data centre projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary design and construction teams to deliver high-quality outputs from concept through to delivery.

This hybrid role in Northfleet offers a 6-month initial contract inside IR35, with a daily rate of £500–£600.

Are you a Building Services Design Engineer with experience working om Data Centres, looking to play a vital role within one of the most exciting and growing projects within the industry?

On offer is the chance to join one of the fastest growing projects within the Data Centre industry, within one of the fastest growing design consultancies in the UK.

In this vital role, you will lead the design and technical development of building services systems across major data centre projects, ensuring solutions meet client, regulatory and performance requirements. Alongside this you will coordinate with multidisciplinary design and construction teams, producing high-quality technical designs, specifications and documentation from concept through to delivery.

This role would suit a Building Services Design Engineer with experience working on Data Centres looking to play a vital role within one of the most exciting projects in the industry.

The Role:

• Designing building services systems for Data Centres
• Working within a tight knit design team
• Coordinating with construction teams to ensure all projects are completed
• Flexitime 37.5 hours a week
