About the Role:
They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, pushing the boundaries of design and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the mechanical design process from concept to completion, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions.
·Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated and cohesive designs.
·Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development.
·Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
·Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
·Engage in client meetings, presenting design concepts and progress updates.
Key Requirements:
·Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
·Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
·Significant experience in mechanical design within a UK based consultancy environment.
·Proven track record of delivering complex projects across various sectors.
·Strong collaboration and communication skills.
·Proficiency in relevant design software and tools including Hevacomp, IES/TAS, AutoCAD and Revit
