The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to date in Formula 1.
We’re a racing team – not a corporate machine. We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK, and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal, and hardworking team ambassadors. General Summary:
This position reports to the Design Team Leader or their designee; it is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for the design of F1 chassis-related components and mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Work Experience:
GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Further education including a Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. Minimum 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 in a professional motorsports environment or F1 companies.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to prioritize and work methodically in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments. May require occasional domestic and international travel, long and flexible hours, including weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, manual dexterity, and working around machinery, race cars, rigs, debris, and fluids. All employees must comply with health and safety policies and legislation.
