Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services in West London is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the site delivery of mechanical packages on a major infrastructure project. You will coordinate installation teams, manage RAMS and permits, and ensure safety, quality and programme alignment throughout delivery.

The role requires strong building services knowledge, ability to interpret drawings, and proven leadership in coordinating multifaceted site activity across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager.
• Strong mechanical building services experience.
• Good technical understanding of mechanical installations and associated systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and site coordination.
• Confident interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience taking packages through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or complex project experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installation activities across the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site labour.
• Manage mechanical packages from installation through to testing, commissioning and handover.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Ensure installations are delivered in accordance with approved designs.
• Monitor programme, productivity and quality.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil and other disciplines.
• Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and relevant site documentation.
• Identify and resolve installation and coordination issues.
• Attend project, progress and coordination meetings.
• Manage snagging and close-out of mechanical works.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout delivery.
