NES Fircroft are recruiting a Senior / Principal Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to lead the design delivery of complex mechanical building services and HVAC solutions for portfolio projects in power infrastructure.

Based in Manchester with hybrid working, the role requires independent ownership of mechanical work packages, technical risk management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership.
• Significant experience in mechanical building services and HVAC design.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations, CIBSE guidance, CDM and relevant standards.
• Experience with design software and engineering calculations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical workstreams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and delivery of mechanical and HVAC systems from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Take ownership of assigned mechanical packages, ensuring technical quality and programme compliance.
• Develop and review design calculations, specifications, schedules, reports and studies.
• Coordinate design deliverables through reviews and BIM workflows.
• Provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges and support teams.
