Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Mechanical Revit Designer to join our UK practice on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on delivering 3D BIM models and 2D drawings for complex mechanical building services within the defence and nuclear sector.

You will coordinate multi-discipline systems, manage BIM information, and uphold security requirements across projects. The position offers hybrid working, with Reading or other offices as potential bases, and a supportive environment that values safety,

Qualifications

• Experience in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment.
• Production of 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, schematics, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model.
• Experience coordinating systems and resolving clashes across multi disciplines.
• Capability across multiple mechanical disciplines including Mechanical Building Services.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards, work flows and information management.
• Familiar with working in a secure environment.
• Experience in using Plant 3D & Inventor platforms, not essential but nice to have.
