Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to drive SAP MDG/S/4HANA governance across Customer, Vendor and Finance master data. You will lead data quality initiatives, support audits, and guide governance improvements while leveraging Power Platform and AI to automate processes.

The role focuses on delivering robust governance, coordinating with stakeholders globally, and enabling data-driven decision-making within Finance and Enterprise Business Services.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP MDG and S/4HANA for master data governance in Finance, Customer and Vendor data.
• Experience supporting audits, control walkthroughs, evidence collection and compliance activities.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong data presentation capabilities.
• Proven ability to produce dashboards and MI to support business decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Committed to data governance, MDG and continuous development.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to drive governance adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support master data governance, data quality and business transformation projects.
• Coordinate requirements, manage risks and dependencies, deliver sustainable value within scope and timelines.
• Support audit activities, maintain evidence and ensure compliance with internal controls.
