Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Master Data Specialist to own SAP master data for finished goods, materials, and customers within a busy manufacturing environment. You will govern MDG requests, set up new products, and maintain BOMs and SKUs to support production planning and financial reporting.

The role requires strong data accuracy, governance, and collaboration with Supply Chain, Production, and Finance. You will drive continuous improvement and SOP enhancements across master data processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Master Data in Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
• Proven accuracy handling large data volumes with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong data governance and process control knowledge.
• Experience creating product master data, BOMs, routings, or production-related data structures.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Production, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and govern SAP master data for finished goods, materials, and customers.
• Process Master Data Governance (MDG) requests with controls and approvals.
• Set up new products, including specifications, routings, production parameters, and related master data.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), production versions, recipes, and SKUs.
• Lead and coordinate master data changes across the business.
• Implement and manage data quality controls, checklists, and governance procedures.
• Produce regular reporting, KPI analysis, and data-driven insights for performance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Production to investigate waste and efficiency issues.
• Lead weekly Finished Goods review meetings.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality and SAP utilisation.
• Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs for master data processes.
• Act as the key link between multiple functions to resolve data-related issues.
