Tarmac is looking for a Senior Materials Testing Technician (Aggregates & Asphalt) based at Clitheroe Asphalt Plant. You will lead a practical, site-based team performing laboratory testing and on-site sampling to ensure products meet the highest quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, detailed testing know-how, and collaboration with operations across multiple sites, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a technical laboratory team.
• Laboratory testing in aggregates or asphalt.
• Knowledge of BS EN testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aggregate and asphalt testing to BS EN standards.
• Ensure accurate, timely testing to support operations.
• Promote health, safety and environmental culture.
