Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asphalt testing and quality control within construction materials.
• Hands-on laboratory and site-based testing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with British and European standards and accurate technical record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking laboratory and site-based testing across asphalt and other construction materials.
• Testing products including asphalt, aggregates, concrete, mortars and screeds.
• Carrying out quality control and performance testing in line with relevant industry standards.
• Working to applicable British and European testing standards, including UKAS requirements.
• Recording, reviewing and maintaining accurate test data and results.
• Assisting with investigations where materials or products do not meet the required specification.
• Supporting the technical team with product development and continuous improvement activities.
• Providing technical assistance during site-based testing when required.
