Qualifications

• Degree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in solid‑state and physical characterisation in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Hands‑on experience of solid form screening and crystallization.
• Hands‑on method development, troubleshooting, and project leadership.
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting to external audiences.
• Proven ability to deliver results independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead projects with hands‑on experimental work using instrumentation (PXRD, SEM, thermal analysis, etc.).
• Independently design, execute and troubleshoot experiments related to solid‑state properties.
• Develop and validate analytical methods, including GMP environments.
• Translate experimental findings into clear recommendations for clients and partners.
• Lead scientific work packages, manage timelines, deliver high‑quality data packages.
• Mentor junior scientists and support continuous improvement in lab operations.
• Present scientific work at conferences and client meetings; support business development.
