Job summary

Evolito Ltd. is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to lead materials characterisation and data management for airworthiness certification. You will apply knowledge of metals, polymers, composites and adhesives while working with cross-functional teams to transfer new processes into production.

The role requires a degree in Materials Engineering and a strong, proactive problem-solving mindset, with experience in aerospace or related sectors and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong materials engineering background with practical application.
• Knowledge across metals, polymers, composites and adhesives.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive or electric motors sectors preferred.
• Creative problem solving with analytical, structured approach.
• Comfort working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Flexible, proactive, and collaborative in a fast-moving small business.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver materials characterisation activities for airworthiness.
• Process and manage materials data using Granta Materials Intelligence.
• Advise on material selection and applications across the product portfolio.
• Develop test procedures to assess materials through life cycles.
• Support design/manufacture teams and transfer processes to production.
• Investigate failures and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Report results to technical stakeholders and liaise with suppliers.
