Job summary

Evolito Ltd is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to lead materials characterisation programmes and ensure airworthiness certification for Evolito’s electric propulsion systems. The role involves managing materials data and applying knowledge of metals, polymers, composites and adhesives across the product portfolio.

You will develop and define test procedures, support production transfers, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong background in materials engineering with practical application.
• Experience with metals, polymers, composites and adhesives.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive or electric motors environments preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead materials characterisation programmes for airworthiness certification.
• Manage materials data using Granta Materials Intelligence.
• Assess materials across Evolito’s product portfolio.
• Develop test procedures for material lifecycle robustness.
• Support design, manufacturing and production transfer activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on material decisions.
