Wright Engineering in Worksop is seeking an experienced Design Engineer / Design Draughtsperson. You will work on bespoke material handling and structural steelwork projects, producing GA and fabrication drawings, and developing master models from client and supplier data.

Key tasks include site surveys, 3D layouts, and coordination with apprentices and the workshop. A strong eye for detail and good communication are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar design/draughting role.
• Experience with bulk material handling and structural steelwork projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and capable of producing GA and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with 3D modelling and coordinating master models from client and supplier information.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop bespoke design solutions for material handling and structural steelwork.
• Attend client sites to conduct surveys and gather information for engineering drawings.
• Produce GA and fabrication drawings, 3D layouts, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate information with clients and third-party suppliers; mentor junior designers.
• Attend design reviews and client meetings as required.
