Role: Sr. Marketing Strategist (Part Time - 4 day work week)

Reports To: VP, Marketing

Location: London, UK

We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Strategist to play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies for FIFTH SEASON television distribution portfolio, including series, documentaries, films, and events. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this part-time role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in entertainment marketing and a deep understanding of the global TV landscape.

The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in managing the full lifecycle of international television campaigns and demonstrate a strategic grasp of the B2B distribution business. You should be comfortable navigating key global markets such as MIPCOM, London and LA Screenings, APEX, and ATF. Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of television marketing campaigns, collaborating with partners to deliver best-in-class client service and timely rollout of materials.
  • Develop impactful B2B sales collateral—both creative and data-driven—for assigned titles, supporting global sales and distribution objectives.
  • Oversee marketing asset delivery in coordination with the servicing team, ensuring materials are distributed on time and within budget across all territories.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal marketing teams, clients, and vendors to share updates, facilitate business agreements, and enhance cross-functional workflows.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and streamline campaign operations.
  • Provide strategic marketing leadership by creating and executing campaigns that elevate brand visibility and drive distribution across SVOD, AVOD, and traditional broadcast platforms.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders—sales, acquisitions, and business affairs—to deliver cohesive, results-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Craft compelling brand narratives and messaging that engage international buyers, distributors, and audiences, aligning with broader company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and industry shifts to inform marketing decisions and deliver insightful performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Mentor junior marketing team members, providing leadership, support, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Significant Experience in marketing within a studio, streaming platform, or television distribution environment, with substantial exposure to international markets and major industry events.
  • Demonstrated experience in creative design, with proven ability to manage external vendors effectively.
  • Deep understanding of television distribution platforms, including traditional broadcast, streaming (SVOD/AVOD), home entertainment, and FAST channels.
  • Strong track record in building and maintaining cross-functional relationships, with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in customer segmentation, data modeling, and performance evaluation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the global television distribution ecosystem, including major platforms, buyers, and markets such as MIPCOM, APEX, ATF, London and LA Screenings.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with proven success in leading teams and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Passionate about television content and deeply engaged with the global entertainment landscape.
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments, time zones, and international offices, fostering clear and effective communication at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
