Senior Marketing Executive - Hybrid working from our office in Stockbridge, Edinburgh

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 plus benefits (dep on experience).

Locogen is a group of renewable energy companies headquartered in Edinburgh. Our vision is a world powered 100% by renewables; where everyone has access to affordable, sustainable energy and clean air. We have grown significantly over the last year and have ambitious plans. There’s lots to do!

We are now looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to support and deliver the marketing plan to support Locogen’s growth strategy.

About our Senior Marketing Executive Role:

This role will support our Marketing Manager. As a key player in the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel campaigns, managing content creation, analysing performance, and generating high-quality leads for the business.

You’ll have the autonomy to lead projects from start to finish while collaborating across departments to ensure marketing activity aligns with company goals and communicates the Locogen brand effectively.

Some of the things you might be doing:

  • Deliver targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Creating, designing and delivering content across digital and offline channels
  • End-to-end delivery of our digital marketing campaigns and relationship marketing
  • Drive lead generation and brand awareness through digital, CRM, and event marketing
  • Proactively develop HubSpot and CRM system to optimise campaign performance and track ROI
  • Collaborate with wider business to identify opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness
  • Data analysis and reporting on marketing activity and campaign performance against targets

Key skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within the renewable energy sector, engineering consultancy, or a fast-growing SME.
  • Demonstrable experience in all aspects of marketing including digital, events, content, campaigns, lead generation, data analytics.
  • Proficient in Hubspot marketing and CRM tools, with a solid understanding of campaign tracking and ROI analysis.
  • Skilled in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics; experience with WordPress, LinkedIn, InDesign, Canva, and SurveyMonkey.
  • Experienced at generating quality leads from marketing campaigns and securing a return on investment (ROI).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, showcasing story-telling and creative thinking across mediums (visual, written).
  • Strong data analytical skills and understanding of performance metrics.
  • Strong team player who can work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing team and with cross-functional stakeholders to build audiences and content
  • A degree in a relevant subject; a marketing qualification and/or chartership is desirable.
  • Experience planning and executing both virtual and in-person events.
  • Beneficial if led/supported on process implementation.
