Job description

Our Consulting team is relatively newlyformed, so there's a real ‘start-up’ culture across the team as they developtheir go to market plans. We’re looking for a seasoned marketer withsignificant experience in the Consulting space to play a pivotal role in thoseplans - establishing NHS SBS as the NHS Consulting partner of choice anddriving the achievement of their income-generation, reputation-building andawareness-raising objectives.

This is a high visibility, high impactrole, and we need someone who can work in an agile and collaborative way withall partner levels, embed a best in class marketing approach, be accountablefor delivering measurable impact, and who can help the team recognise the artof the marketing possible. You’ll be part of the Marketing & ExternalCommunications team, with a dotted-line to the Consulting Director, andcollaborate with various in-house teams and external agencies

This will be a part-time role of 22.5hours per week. We want to give you the autonomy and flexibility you needso will let you define your working pattern.
The role will primarily be home based butideally located within one hour travelling distance to our Salford office forregular meetings. Ad hoc travel across the UK to other sites will be required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partnerwith the Consulting team to develop the go to market plan, positioning andawareness building of Consulting and its service offers in our targetmarkets.
  • Continuouslydevelop the value propositions for our finance, workforce, commercial,automation, change management, and full team, service offers.
  • Lead allaspects of activity across the marketing funnel to improve the volume andrelevance of our audiences, and to provide marketing qualified leads tothe client facing teams.
  • Report onand evaluate all activity against agreed metrics to demonstrate impact andvalue and refine activity.
  • Own thedevelopment and delivery of marcomms strategies and multi-channel campaigndelivery across digital platforms, video, events and print.
  • Developcompelling content for internal and external audiences (including clientsand prospective clients, suppliers, consumers, key customers and internalstaff).
  • Source,commission, report and use market and customer insights to highlightopportunities to meet client needs via both existing product ranges andproduct and service development.
  • Engageand build relationships with internal stakeholders and external knowledgesources to create an in-depth understanding of the business, its strategyand products, and the broader market in which the business operates.

What you’ll bring:

  • Significantexperience in a similar role in a similar Consulting space.
  • Provenexperience of developing, delivering and evaluating agile marcommsstrategies that have driven growth in a similar Consulting space.
  • Experienceof launching new consulting services to market
  • Excellentcommunication skills (interpersonal, spoken & written).
  • Strongstakeholder management skills, and the presence and personality to engagewith, and influence, internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Theability to prioritise between sometimes competing projects, and theproject management expertise to deliver successfully against multiplepriorities at pace.
  • Demonstrable experience of writing anddeveloping accurate, compelling content for a range of audiences across avariety of channels.
  • Experienceof defining and evaluating effectiveness of marcomms activities.
  • Initiativeand drive – demonstrable self-motivation and a can-do attitude.
  • Shows akeen attention to detail and unique design perspectives.

Salary: ProRata'd salary based on 22.5 hours is £27,000 - £33,000. FTE equivalent salaryis £45,000 - £55,000. Depending upon experience and development needs.
