Job summary

Sanctuary Care and Sanctuary Supported Living in Worcester is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to set the strategic direction for marketing across the Commercial arm and lead an integrated team to drive growth, reputation and occupancy.

You will oversee agency partnerships, ensure measurable outcomes, and align activity with business priorities in a nationally distributed portfolio. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior marketing and communications role.
• Proven ability to develop and lead marketing and communications strategies that support growth, reputation, customer engagement and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the marketing and communications strategy for the Commercial arm, ensuring activity aligns with priorities.
• Drive self-funder enquiry generation, conversion and occupancy across the national portfolio of care homes.
• Lead brand, reputation and customer communications across a national portfolio of care homes and supported living services.
• Translate customer, market and performance insight into clear recommendations and strategic actions for directors and leaders.
• Oversee marketing performance, budget, reporting and ROI to ensure activity is measurable and optimized.
• Lead digital marketing, website, search, reviews and customer journey improvements to boost visibility and conversion.
• Own talent marketing as a strategic priority to strengthen employer brand and recruitment objectives.
• Manage agency and supplier partnerships to ensure high standards and value for money.
• Provide senior marketing advice to colleagues and boards to respond to local challenges and opportunities.
• Ensure governance across brand standards, data protection, advertising standards and AI-generated content.
• Lead, develop and inspire a specialist marketing and communications team to deliver at pace and with impact.
• Contribute to strategic projects and transformation to support growth and customer experience.
