Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking a Pricing Manager to join the Market Pricing team on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will lead a small pricing group, drive price optimisation projects and ensure delivery to deadlines and quality standards.

Educated to a numerical degree with extensive pricing experience, you will oversee model development and apply ML techniques to improve pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance pricing or related analytical background.
• Extensive experience in price optimisation and pricing development.
• Knowledge of pricing models and customer/market behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Management, development and coaching of Lead, Senior and Pricing Analysts (circa team of 5).
• Monitoring and management of trading position to ensure targets are met.
• Oversight of models for customer and market behaviours; incorporating machine learning into pricing models.
