Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Senior Market Development Manager to lead the adoption and growth of Aurora EV-ICD, OmniaSecure and CSP therapies in the UK & Ireland. You will collaborate with Commercial, Clinical, Marketing and Market Access teams to advance patient access and transform pathways.

Travel across the UK & Ireland is expected to engage healthcare organisations, Trust leaders and NHS stakeholders, supporting tenders and strategic sales initiatives with strong stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in market development or commercial healthcare roles.
• Strong understanding of Cardiac Rhythm Management, electrophysiology or cardiovascular care.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption and market growth of Aurora EV-ICD, OmniaSecure and CSP therapies throughout UK & Ireland.
• Identify barriers to therapy adoption and implement initiatives to accelerate uptake.
• Analyse and optimise referral pathways for eligible patients and engage NHS stakeholders.
• Support tenders, commercial agreements and value-based healthcare proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders across the system.
• Support physician education programmes, workshops, proctorships and peer-to-peer learning.

Working closely with Commercial Managers, Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists and the Marketing team, you will develop and execute market development strategies that improve patient access, support healthcare system transformation and deliver sustainable business growth.This is a highly visible role requiring strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. The position will involve regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland to engage with customers, healthcare organisations and Medtronic teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesDrive the adoption and market growth of Aurora EV-ICD, OmniaSecure and CSP therapies across the UK & Ireland.Identify barriers to therapy adoption and implement initiatives that accelerate uptake and improve patient access.Analyse and optimise referral pathways for patients eligible for defibrillation and physiologic pacing therapies.Collaborate with NHS stakeholders, Trust leadership and Integrated Care Systems to support service development and pathway transformation.Support national and regional tenders, commercial agreements and value-based healthcare proposals.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical and administrative stakeholders across the healthcare system.Support physician education programmes, workshops, proctorships and peer-to-peer learning initiatives.Partner closely with Commercial, Clinical, Marketing and Market Access teams to ensure effective execution of strategic priorities.Required QualificationsProven track record in market development, strategic account management or commercial healthcare rolesStrong understanding of Cardiac Rhythm Management, electrophysiology or cardiovascular careExcellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skillsCommercial acumen, including experience supporting tenders, contracts or strategic sales initiativesAbility to work effectively across complex stakeholder environments and drive change through collaborationPreferred QualificationsUniversity degree or equivalent professional experienceExperience with NHS procurement, commissioning or NHS Supply Chain processesUnderstanding of Value-Based Healthcare principlesExperience in healthcare pathway redesign, service development or project leadershipPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Recruitment Fraud AlertWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
