Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Marine Broking professional to lead a growing technical team in the London market, handling Marine Hull and Machinery, P&I, Marine Liability and cargo with emphasis on back-office processes.

The role focuses on debiting, crediting, reconciliation and related tasks, with a path to greater leadership within the team. Hybrid working—2 days from home, 3 in the office near Leadenhall Market—and a salary range of £40,000–£60,000 are offered.

As a Senior within the team, you will deal with a range of marine classes including Marine Hull and Machinery, P&I, Marine Liability and some cargo. You'll be an expert at debiting, crediting, reconciliation, Bureau submissions and associated back-office processes (There is a separate team who focus on the slip production)

The team you'll be the senior of have great potential but are less experienced, which will give you the opportunity to utilize your knowledge and set a great example and put a system in place.

As an integral part of the marine broking team, you'll be offered a salary in the £40,000 - £60,000 range depending upon experience plus comprehensive benefits package.

You'll be able to work from home 2 days a week and 3 in the office (near Leadenhall market).

We are looking to talk to individuals with 5+ years experience in a processing/technical role. We have a preference for individuals with some exposure to the marine insurance market, although are open on experience.

A lot of "processing" roles in the London market are deemed more of a "job". This is an opportunity to join a highly dynamic Lloyd's Broker, working with a great bunch of people and industry professionals.
