Job summary

Harrison Holgate in London is seeking an experienced Insurance Technician to join its London Market team in a hybrid role with 2 days in the office. The Marine Technician will handle end-to-end technical processing of London Market business, ensuring accurate documentation and timely service for Brokers and Clients, with exposure to a varied portfolio of complex risks.

You'll work in a collaborative, supportive team, using systems such as PPL or DXC/Xchanging, and enjoy clear progression

Qualifications

• Experience in the London Insurance Market in a technical support capacity.
• Strong technical processing knowledge across insurance documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience using London Market systems such as PPL, DXC/Xchanging is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and processing slips, endorsements, MRCs and policy documentation.
• Managing premium processing, closings and associated technical administration.
• Liaising with Brokers, Underwriters, Clients and overseas partners to resolve queries.
• Producing accurate documentation in line with Lloyd's and Company Market procedures.
• Maintaining internal systems and ensuring records remain compliant and up to date.
• Supporting renewals, new business and mid-term adjustments across a varied portfolio.
• Assisting with technical projects and process improvement initiatives where required.

A leading independent Lloyd's Broker is looking to appoint an experienced Insurance Technician to join its growing London Market team. Marine Technician

As an Insurance Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end technical handling of London Market business, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and within agreed service standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and processing slips, endorsements, MRCs and policy documentation.

About You

You’ll already have experience within the London Insurance Market in a technical support, technician or broker support capacity and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.
