Job summary

Manor Marine UK Ltd. seeks an experienced Supervisor for the Marine Engineering/Fitting department to plan and oversee activities across vessel construction, service, repair and refit.

You will lead a team of marine engineers, fitters and subcontractors, ensuring on-time delivery, safety and quality. Applicants should have 3–5+ years in marine projects, strong reading of drawings, and hands-on fitting ability.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years' experience in vessel construction, service, repair and refit.
• Strong marine/mechanical engineering knowledge and practical fitting ability.
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Marine Engineering/Fitting department.
• Supervise installation, repair, overhaul and maintenance of machinery.
• Ensure alignment and foundations meet specifications and tolerances.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and troubleshooting before handover.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with drawings and standards.
• Liaise with Project Managers and other teams to stay aligned with requirements.
• Attend vessel/project coordination meetings as required.
• Promote teamwork, accountability and safety culture.
