The Crown Estate is seeking a Marine & Energy Policy Senior Manager to shape policy positions and provide strategic insight for the Marine business. You will lead horizon scanning, coordinate evidence-led policy positions, and influence government and stakeholders to support sustainable seabed use.

You will translate complex policy developments into concise guidance for senior leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and external engagement plans.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the UK marine policy landscape and regulators.
• Experience analysing complex policy developments and translating into practical advice for senior leaders.
• Experience developing evidence-led policy positions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for policy analysis and briefs.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving external environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead horizon scanning across marine policy landscape and assess implications for strategic objectives.
• Translate complex policy developments into clear, timely advice for senior leaders.
• Develop and coordinate evidence-led policy positions aligned with Crown Estate strategy.
• Identify partnership or influence opportunities to improve policy outcomes.
• Support External Affairs to shape engagement with government and policy actors.
• Monitor developments across marine policy including planning, fishing, ports, and offshore energy.
• Prepare concise briefings and lines to take for government and stakeholders.
• Embed policy insight across the Marine business to inform strategy and investment.
