Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Technical Consultant - Marine Ecology with mid-senior level to deliver fish and shellfish components of EIAs. Based in Norwich with hybrid work, you will produce desk studies, PEIRs and EIA chapters, collaborating across sectors such as offshore wind and oil and gas decommissioning.

You will lead proposals, manage projects, and mentor junior staff, leveraging GIS, MS Office, and AI-assisted research.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in marine consultancy or a technical marine field.
• Strong track record in fish and shellfish ecology and EIA reporting.
• Proficient GIS skills and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality reports including PEIRs and EIA chapters.
• Lead project management tasks and contribute to proposals.
• Provide specialist advice to operators, governments and regulators.
