Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Devices

A medical devices company based in Cambridgeshire is seeking a senior manufacturing / new product introduction engineer to join their team and help transition their first products from development to production.

This company aims to improve patient lives through innovative sensor technology that provides real-time personalized health information.

As a manufacturing engineer, you will lead manufacturing process development, oversee each stage of production, and plan experimental work with prototypes to identify improvements.

You will also be responsible for assessing manufacturing quality, supporting design for manufacture, modeling product costs, identifying potential suppliers, and supporting supplier audits.

A key aspect of this role involves applying your knowledge to design verification activities, including procurement of prototypes, testing, and validation of jigs and fixtures.
