Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity awaits you to join a rapidly growing Medical Devices division and contribute to the development of innovative Medical Technologies. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Manufacturing Engineer with experience in designing production and manufacturing systems within the Medical Devices, Biotechnology, or Sciences industries.

Ideally, you will have a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, coupled with experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering, including designing in 3D CAD and maintaining production machinery.

You will support design teams across multiple functions, with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM). The role involves building prototypes and testing new rigs to ensure medical devices function correctly and are efficiently manufacturable. Supply Chain experience would be highly advantageous.

Given the size of the group, you should be willing to engage in designing, building, testing systems, and maintaining production machinery. As the group expands, this role will evolve, offering excellent career advancement opportunities.

You will be expected to lead various projects and collaborate effectively within teams, depending on project requirements.

Since the role involves working alongside other Medical Devices divisions, knowledge of ISO 13485, QMS, and GMP is expected.
