Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in the UK seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimise CNC machining processes for MillTurn, 5-axis machining and turning, delivering high quality aerospace components.

You will drive process development, industrialisation, and continuous improvement, provide technical support, and collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• CNC programming for MillTurn, 5-axis and turning.
• CAD/CAM with CATIA, HyperMILL and Vericut.
• Strong machining, tooling and process development knowledge.
• Experience solving complex manufacturing challenges.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and tolerancing.
• A continuous improvement mindset.
• Engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

Join Safran Landing Systems as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and play a key role in developing and optimising CNC machining processes for complex aerospace components. With a focus on MillTurn, 5-axis machining, and turning, you'll drive manufacturing excellence through process development, industrialisation, continuous improvement, and technical support, helping deliver world‑class products to the highest quality standards.
