Job summary

Safran Gloucester site is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product introductions, drive lean initiatives, and optimize production processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery on the shop floor, with emphasis on digitalisation and cost reduction.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, documentation, and experience with CAD tools like CATIA V5 and PLM systems such as 3DEXPERIENCE/DELMIA.

Qualifications

• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 or equivalent CAD software.
• Familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE/DELMIA (Dassault Systèmes).
• Understanding of HSE and ergonomic requirements.
• Knowledge of Flow Line and Pulse Line production methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support new product introductions and production activities.
• Assist with process improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Contribute to equipment and tooling development initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Your Role:

Join our Manufacturing Engineering team and play a key role in supporting new product introduction, process improvement, and production operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery performance while helping drive lean manufacturing and digitalisation initiatives across the shop floor.
