Senior Manager – UK Policy & Public Affairs

? Fully onsite | 6-month contract | Umbrella pay rate: £39.53 – £49.51 per hour

A leading pharma company is seeking a politically astute and strategic communicator to join their UK Policy and Public Affairs team during a pivotal time for the healthcare and life sciences sector.

This is a high-impact, externally-facing role where you’ll lead on stakeholder engagement with Government, Parliament, and policy influencers to promote a pro-innovation, pro-patient environment in the UK.

• Develop and lead public affairs and policy campaigns that shape the UK life sciences landscape
• Engage directly with the Government, NHS, Parliament, and policy groups to influence key healthcare and business policies
• Provide strategic counsel and political insight to senior business leaders
• Work cross-functionally with communications, medical, patient advocacy and external affairs teams

What we’re looking for:

• A passion for politics and public policy, and experience advising senior leaders in political, healthcare or business environments
• Strong stakeholder networks and a deep understanding of UK policy and political processes
• Excellent communication, influencing, and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in the healthcare, public affairs, civil service, or life sciences sectors is highly desirable
