Title: Senior Manager, UK Policy and Public Affairs

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Tadworth (hybrid)

Rate: £44.19 per hour

Role Overview

The post holder will:

• Lead development and delivery of Policy and Public Affairs campaigns to establish a UK life sciences eco-system promoting innovation and protecting Pfizer’s license to operate.
• Engage externally and build relationships with UK Government, Parliament, and the public policymaking community to support strategic priorities.
• Provide political and healthcare insights, strategic counsel, and develop impactful messaging about UK healthcare and life sciences.
• Advise senior business leaders on the healthcare and policy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate work within the UK Policy and Public Affairs team.
• Collaborate with various parts of Pfizer to develop policy frameworks.
• Align with Communications, Global Health, and Patient Advocacy teams for integrated external engagement.
• Develop Pfizer positions supporting a favorable medicines access environment.
• Build advocacy with stakeholders including government, NHS, Parliament, patient groups, think tanks, trade associations, and scientific communities.
• Keep leadership informed of policy developments and activities.
