Job Description:

As the Senior Manager – Treasury Operations, you will lead the Treasury Operations team and partner with stakeholders in Nationwide’s Treasury function to ensure smooth Treasury settlements, collateral management, derivatives, and reconciliation processes. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and agent banks.

You will oversee the control environment within Treasury Operations, ensuring controls are effective and regulatory requirements are met. You will be the first point of escalation for incident management and will lead system changes and process improvements in partnership with the Treasury team.

This 12-month Fixed Term Contract role is part of the Financial Reporting & Tax (FR&T) function within Finance, working alongside Treasury. You will engage with the Treasury leadership team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Leading the Treasury Operations team to ensure effective settlements processes.
• Overseeing planning, daily activities, and key outputs.
• Ensuring controls are in place, monitoring controls, and reporting monthly MI.
• Collaborating with Treasury colleagues to develop solutions and embed changes.
