To continue the successful growth of our TD team within EY’s Consulting practice, we are looking for experienced, motivated people who have previously worked in programme and project management, business or digital transformation roles, either in industry or in a client-side advisory role to join our team.

Our approach to delivering exceptional programme/project management and transformation services is underpinned by three features:

1. Providing transformation and project management capability to help clients deliver projects and programmes that generate real business value.
2. Working with diverse clients across sectors including government, energy, utilities, transport, education, consumer products, and retail.
3. Collaborating with EY teams to bring the full spectrum of EY’s consultancy services to our clients.

Your key responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Senior Managers responsible for:

Client Responsibilities:

• Managing and delivering large-scale transformation programmes on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Leading major project activities, including business process design, testing, and end-user training with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Building valued relationships with external clients and internal teams, developing a portfolio of high-impact business opportunities.
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality work, maintaining EY’s global brand and reputation.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in one or more areas, shaping services for clients.
• Leading presentations and proposals for complex projects, providing insights for bids.
• Creating innovative insights, adapting methods to client needs, and contributing to thought leadership.
• Driving engagement quality & risk management initiatives.

Internal Responsibilities:

• Supporting client account management activities such as recruitment, financial management, and quality assurance.
• Building and maintaining relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Leading and supporting project proposals and presentations.
• Communicating effectively with senior management and motivating teams.
• Understanding EY’s services and identifying opportunities for client service improvement.
• Fostering internal relationships across teams and service lines.
• Supporting team development, including coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Participating in recruitment, training, and workplace policy communication.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify, you should have:

• Experience in management consulting or similar advisory roles in industry or the public sector.
• Over 8 years of project management experience managing large projects and transformation programmes.
• Experience as a client-facing project manager using waterfall methodologies across sectors.
• Agile certifications such as Professional Scrum Master / Product Owner, SAFe Scrum Master / Product Owner are preferred.
• Multidisciplinary experience including project management, process design, testing, and training.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of project governance and change management principles.
• Additional qualifications like PRINCE2 or PMP are desirable.
• Interest in process improvement, agile methodologies, and business case development.
• Must have full working rights in Ireland.
