Job description

Data is at the core of modern business, yet many teams struggle with its overwhelming volume and complexity. At Atlan, we’re changing that. As the world’s first active metadata platform, we help organisations transform data chaos into clarity and seamless collaboration.

From Fortune 500 leaders to hyper-growth startups, from automotive innovators redefining mobility to healthcare organisations saving lives, and from Wall Street powerhouses to Silicon Valley trailblazers — we empower ambitious teams across industries to unlock the full potential of their data.

Recognised as leaders by Gartner and Forrester and backed by Insight Partners, Atlan is at the forefront of reimagining how humans and data work together. Joining us means becoming part of a movement to shape a future where data drives extraordinary outcomes.

Join Atlan, where we're leading the active metadata management revolution, enabling data teams to unlock insights and drive innovation. As the Sr. Manager, Talent Operations, you will play a critical role in driving our mission of hiring exceptional talent as we scale rapidly. You will own and lead key initiatives focused on improving our overall reporting, systems, processes, and talent pipelines. Prior recruiting experience is not mandatory, but a strong background in operations with experience managing and optimizing high-transaction processes is essential.

Why this role is important for us?

  • Team Leadership: Support and mentor a team of talent acquisition coordinators, providing guidance, setting performance goals, and fostering professional development.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop and maintain TA metrics, dashboards, and reports to track performance, identify trends, and guide strategic decisions. Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Systems & Process Ownership: Own the implementation and adoption of new talent acquisition technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to best practices.

  • Process Adherence: Track organizational adherence to our processes & own recruitment specific projects. Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for talent acquisition processes and systems, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing.

  • Early Career Talent: Develop and implement strategies to attract and engage top talent from universities and colleges, building a robust pipeline of entry-level talent.

  • Project Management: Lead various talent acquisition projects from conception to execution, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and other stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback, and build solutions.

  • Stay Informed: Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.

What makes us a great match?

  • Demonstrated expertise in operations or program management, preferably with experience in high-transaction processes. A Master's Degree in Operations Management or Project Management is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and track progress. Experience with any Project Management Tools and Excel is needed. PMP Certification is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrives on new challenges.

  • Bonus Points:

  • Experience in talent acquisition or a related field.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.

  • Understanding of university recruiting and engagement strategies.
