Job Description

The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team leads Visa’s business in commercial payments. Our team provides an opportunity for Visa to diversify its revenue with differentiated products and solutions that deepen customer relationships and deliver innovative solutions across other networks. This role reports to the Head of Strategy and Commercial Operations in VCS Europe. VCS has high growth ambitions, expecting to more than double our business over the next five years. This is a unique opportunity to expand sales beyond core Visa offerings in the fast-moving world of commercial payments.

The role is key in executing VCS’s 2030 strategy, leading strategic initiatives, driving annual strategy and planning, providing business insights and analytics, and delivering performance reports. It will also involve driving new strategic initiatives alongside daily operations, ensuring Visa captures the substantial opportunity in business payments across Europe.

This team supports both VCS EU and the Global B2B Travel team. Working in an agile environment, the candidate must be proactive, adaptable, and skilled at pivoting as new information and opportunities arise.

Responsibilities
  • Lead specific VCS strategic initiatives to focus on and achieve key opportunities.
  • Focus on topics that will significantly impact VCS in Europe and B2B Travel globally, such as ecommerce strategy, supporting new client types, and exploring next-generation product ideas.
  • Collaborate with European VCS leadership and B2B Travel teams on priority initiatives.
  • Prepare high-quality executive presentations, including Quarterly Business Reviews for C-level audiences.
  • Support key client accounts with materials for senior meetings and pitches.
  • Coordinate with other teams (Finance, Visa Consulting and Analytics, Risk, Legal, Client Services) to foster collaboration.
  • Undertake operational tasks like workforce planning, budgeting, managing sales targets, and pipeline management.
  • Use internal data to derive insights and create presentation materials.
  • Participate in initiatives to simplify, improve, and add value to business processes.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and partners.

This position is hybrid, with in-office days to be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
  • Proven strategy experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of payments and financial services industry.
  • Understanding of commercial payments (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong quantitative skills with attention to detail and big-picture thinking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Resilience and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for Commercial Payments, Fintech, and innovation.
