Job summary

Kroll's Restructuring practice in London is seeking a Senior Manager to lead complex insolvency and restructuring engagements with cross-border elements. You will oversee day-to-day management, draft court and stakeholder reports, and mentor junior staff while developing client relationships.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, have a background in insolvency or law with a recognized qualification, and at least five years of focused experience in contentious

Kroll’s Restructuring practice aims to provide effective solutions to its clients. Our clients include major banks, asset-based lenders, private equity houses, accountants, solicitors, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, corporates, and individuals. We are tasked with assuming direct responsibility for organizations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and qualified candidate with the following attributes to join our London office as a Senior Manager. You will be involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging assignments, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in insolvency, restructuring and asset recovery through exposure to working with lenders, investors, companies and their advisors in distressed and urgent situations.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for:

• High-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments, involving investigations and complex cross-border issues,
• Day-to-day management of engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, official and voluntary liquidations, bankruptcy other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring procedures, and investigation assignments
• Drafting detailed, complex reports and documents for Courts, creditors and stakeholders
• Managing and mentoring junior members of staff
• Contributing to development of best practice
• Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or higher in a relevant field
• An insolvency, accounting, or legal background and a qualification from an internationally recognized institution or professional body
• A minimum of 5 years of recent relevant work experience, with a focus on contentious insolvency, asset recovery, restructuring and associated investigations
• Possessing risk tolerance and stress tolerance
• Good business sense and commercial acumen
• Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems
• Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
