Job summary

Senior Manager - Modernisation & Advisory

An established strategy and technology advisory firm is looking to appoint a Senior Manager within its Technology practice, working with senior executives to help organisations unlock value from technology, improve operational performance and deliver complex transformation initiatives.

This is an opportunity for an experienced technology consulting professional to take the next step in their career. You must have a background within Consulting/Advisory.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead complex technology advisory engagements, from initial assessment and strategic planning through to implementation, ensuring technology investment is aligned with business objectives.
• Lead technology assessments across M&A transactions, including IT due diligence, post-acquisition reviews and the development of technology strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency, reduce technology costs and maximise value through cloud adoption, infrastructure optimisation and modernisation.
• Advise clients on enterprise architecture, infrastructure strategy and the development of scalable technology operating models.
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders to assess technology capabilities, identify transformation opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.

What we're looking for:

• Significant experience within a leading management consultancy, specialist technology advisory firm or comparable professional services environment.
• A strong track record of leading large-scale infrastructure and technology transformation programmes.
• Experience delivering IT due diligence, technology assessments or post-acquisition technology integration and optimisation engagements.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including public, private and hybrid cloud environments, with experience across Azure architecture and implementation.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, infrastructure roadmaps and technology operating models.
• The ability to engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into commercially focused recommendations.
• A strong commercial mindset, with experience contributing to business development, client proposals and practice growth.
