Job summary

EY in London seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead the design, build and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions for global clients.

You will drive architecture, governance and delivery across presales and delivery teams, mentoring junior staff while collaborating with stakeholders to align ERP strategy with business goals.

This role offers broad exposure to cross-market projects and the chance to shape the future of enterprise resource planning at EY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Lead as an architect on at least 3 end-to-end AX/D365 global rollouts.
• Lead at least 1 functional area on multi-company and multi-country rollout programs.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP modules, architecture and integration capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving, critical and strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence abilities.
• Strong knowledge of scoping and estimation processes.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, build, and deployment of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operation solution for organisations that operate globally.

This role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their enterprise operations and delivering tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities on Microsoft D365 stack

• Lead the design and architecture of D365 Finance and SCM solutions to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency both for presales and delivery work.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for presales and delivery work.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including system designs, integration diagrams, and data flow models.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards or Design Authority governance forums
• Can identify and own technical delivery risks.
• Oversee the implementation of D365, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Lead and review configuration, testing and documentation activities and if required provide recommendations and suggestions based on modern Microsoft best practices
• Well versed with Microsoft stack (Lifecycle Services, Business Process Catalogue, Task Guides, Office, MS Office etc
• Evaluate and recommend ERP software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry leading practices.
• Drive the presales phase of project and own the solution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the organisation.
• Mentor and train junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.

Other Key areas

• Stakeholder management and working collaboratively with Development and Testing teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet client and user business needs.
• Able to lead multi geography teams to ensure project timelines are met
• Ability to manage near shore and off shore teams for build activities like configuration and testing

• Structured approach to problem-solving and project execution
• Excellent time management and communication skills, well organised, consistently meeting commitments and creating high level deliverables

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of business processes across various functions, including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and human resources.
• Lead as an architect at least 3 end to end AX/D365 global rollouts
• Lead at least 1 functional area on multi company and multi country roll out programs
• In-depth knowledge of ERP modules, functionalities, solution architecture and integration capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of scoping and estimation process.

• Flexibility and willingness to travel

• Has led data migration on at-least one Project
