Job summary

AMD seeks a Senior Manager, Physical Design to lead a cross-disciplinary team focused on next-generation CPU Core implementation and signoff. You will drive PD flows, timing closure, and signoff while mentoring a growing team of engineers across geographies.

The role emphasizes optimizing Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) targets, strong leadership, and collaboration with RTL teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results for advanced CPU cores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in SoC Physical Design implementation, signoff, TapeOut.
• Experience leading PD teams of 10+ engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing Microprocessor PD team for implementation and signoff.
• Provide technical leadership across PD flow, CTS, placement, routing, and signoff.
• Collaborate with RTL teams to optimize PPA metrics and drive automation scripting.
