Job summary

S&W in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Manager, MI & Transformation to lead the Client Onboarding team's management information, governance and transformation. Based in Birmingham, you will drive end-to-end MI, KPI/KRI reporting, Power BI development, and data governance across onboarding and KYC.

Reporting to Head of Client Onboarding - Operations and Strategy, you will shape the future onboarding processes, lead MI Analysts and Data Analysts, and collaborate with central Data and Technology

Qualifications

• Significant experience in operational MI, BI, data analytics, or transformation roles.
• Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design; advanced Excel and data visualisation.
• Strong KPI, KRI, SLA, and performance management knowledge.
• Experience establishing data governance and data quality controls.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Experience leading business transformation and improvement programmes.
• Strong project and change management skills.
• Knowledge of Client Onboarding, KYC, CDD, AML, or operational risk processes preferred.
• Experience with Power Platform.
• Experience managing teams and developing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MI capability across onboarding lifecycle and drive operational excellence.
• Deliver management information, executive reporting, KPI and KRI frameworks, and Power BI development.
• Coordinate with central Data and Technology teams to ensure data integrity and scalability.
• Identify and deliver transformation initiatives across onboarding and KYC, including process redesign and AI automation.
• Line manage MI Analysts, Data Analysts, and project resources as the function grows.

• Strong project and change management skills.
