S and W, a leading Birmingham-based accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Manager for MI & Transformation in Client Onboarding. This senior role shapes the future of onboarding through data governance, strategic change, and advanced analytics across the end-to-end lifecycle.

You will lead MI capability, deliver KPI/KRI reporting, and collaborate with central Data/Tech teams, while driving efficiency and modernizing processes including AI opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in operational MI, business intelligence, data analytics, or transformation roles.
• Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design experience, Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills.
• Strong understanding of KPI, KRI, SLA, and performance management frameworks.
• Experience establishing and managing data governance and data quality controls.
• Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insight.
• Experience leading business transformation and operational improvement programmes.
• Strong project and change management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Client Onboarding, KYC, CDD, AML, or operational risk processes preferred.
• Experience working with Power Platform.
• Experience managing teams and developing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead MI capability and drive operational excellence, tech adoption, and strategic change across onboarding lifecycle.
• Own management information, executive reporting, KPI/KRI frameworks, Power BI development, and data governance in Client Onboarding.
• Liaise with central Data and Technology teams to ensure data integrity across onboarding and KYC.
• Identify and deliver transformation initiatives across onboarding and KYC lifecycles, including AI automation.
• Manage MI Analysts, Data Analysts, and project resources as the function evolves.
