Job summary

Journey Further, within Saulderson, seeks a delivery lead to standardize processes across three pods handling gaming, CPG and AI/software clients. You will build plans, manage resourcing, and ensure campaigns land on time and to budget.

You will set workflows, own handovers from sales, and drive quality across outputs. A strong agency operations background and AI tooling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant agency experience in delivery, projects or operations across social and influencer.
• Understanding of how campaigns are delivered, priced and timed; knowledge of usage rights and agreements.
• Experience integrating influencer activity with paid social, PR and marketing mix.

Responsibilities

• Operationally manage three pod leads and set the delivery standard across Journey Further and Saulderson clients.
• Build project plans and timelines to land work on time, on budget and to brief with the right people.
• Own resourcing and scheduling with the central resourcing team; allocate specialists and freelancers.
• Manage deadlines and build systems to keep the team on track; address slippage early.
• Set up campaign workflows for contracting, approvals, reporting and freelancer management.
• Run client reporting with a steady cadence (weekly Slack updates) and intervene if at risk.
• Ensure teams are busy with the right work and reallocate when projects end or clients move on.
• Oversee handover from sales to delivery with clear briefs for each campaign.
• Quality-assure creator content and outputs across pods; triage issues into training and SOPs.
• Improve onboarding of creators and campaigns’ first-wins speed with better tooling.

Job description

This role sits within Saulderson, part of the Journey Further Group. Our influencer team is growing fast. We need someone to make sure every campaign we sell lands on time, on budget and to the standard our clients expect.

You'll sit above our three pod leads, who run our gaming, CPG and AI/software clients. You'll manage them operationally and own delivery across every pod.

This is a new role. You'll set one standard for how we deliver, build the processes and tools that make it stick, and spot problems early enough to fix them. That frees our directors to focus on strategy and growth, and gives our pod leads a clear, shared way of working.

What you will do

• Operationally manage our three pod leads and set the standard for delivery across Journey Further and Saulderson clients.
• Build project plans and timelines for every client, so work lands on time, on budget and to brief, with the right people on it.
• Own resourcing and scheduling, working with our central resourcing team to allocate specialists and freelancers.
• Manage deadlines and build the systems that keep the team on track. Spot slippage early and step in when we're off plan.
• Set up campaign workflows for contracting, approvals, reporting and freelancer management.
• Run client reporting to a steady cadence, including weekly Slack updates, so it happens without anyone chasing. If it's at risk, you step in.
• Make sure every team is busy with the right work, and reallocate quickly when a project ends early or a client moves on.
• Own the handover from sales into delivery, so every campaign starts with a clear brief.
• Quality-assure creator content and campaign outputs across every pod.
• Triage issues across the pods, turn them into training and SOPs, and elevate to leadership when needed.
• Improve how we find and onboard creators, raising quality and approval rates and getting campaigns to their first win faster.
• Define what our influencer delivery tooling needs to do.
• Build internal tools, workflows and automations with AI, and support bigger builds with our Ops team.

Requirements

• Significant agency experience in delivery, projects or operations, across social and influencer.
• You know how campaigns are delivered, priced and timed, and how usage rights and agreements work.
• You understand how influencer connects with paid social, AEO, PR and the wider marketing mix.
• You already use AI every day to work faster and more accurately, and you can show us what you've built.
• Experience building workflows, automations or agents with AI, not just using off the shelf chat tools.
• Comfortable with project management, resourcing and reporting tools, and able to define what a team's tooling needs to do.
• Strong ability to coach teams day-to-day and guide them on how to improve.
• Organised and able to multitask across a wide variety of accounts at once.
• You solve problems yourself, own the outcome and never pass the blame.
