Job summary

TPF Recruitment is assisting a respected independent accountancy practice in Maidstone in their search for a Manager to join the team. The role oversees a varied portfolio including owner-managed businesses, partnerships and high net worth individuals.

You will work with Partners and leadership, providing statutory and management accounts, tax support and strategic guidance while mentoring a team. Hybrid working and a clear progression path are offered.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified.
• Experience in accountancy practice.
• Currently at Manager or Senior Manager level.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in helping clients succeed.
• Experience managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns.
• Providing commercial advice and support to clients.
• Managing and mentoring a team of accountants and managers.
• Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities within the existing client base.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Assisting with strategic planning and helping drive the continued growth of the firm.
• Working closely with the Partners on practice management and operational matters.

• Competitive salary dependent on experience in the region of £60,000- £75,000
